Job Responsibilities:
� Strong knowledge of Industry solutions around VDI using Citrix
� Hands on knowledge on configuration of Citrix XenDekstop Citrix XenApp Citrix Provisioning Server Citrix Access Gateway etc
� Deep knowledge of complete VDI solution; Minimum of 3-4 years in solution architect experience with strong architectural background
� As a Technical Advocate he is required to keep himself updated on various technologies and offering impacting end-user computing space.
� Strong awareness of current and emerging new technologies / services in the VDI computing space and emerging cloud computing industry standards
� Develop and work to constantly improve service offerings service availability/performance and overall customer experience. Manage lifecycle of VDI.
� Serve as an integral resource in projects adhering to committed deliverables and regular communication of progress to management
� Organize and lead large cross-department product evaluation teams to enable wide exposure and consensus.
� Work with Operations to define and deliver effective reliable engineering solutions.
� Provide expertise on VDI administration configuration and troubleshooting
� Identify problems and provide resolutions of infrastructure-related interruptions utilizing internal and external resources as appropriate
� Monitor infrastructure performance anticipating and proactively responding to capacity recovery and business continuance issues.
� Familiarity with VDI Computing security technologies
� In-depth knowledge of the business continuity systems involved in data center including system such as data backup and disaster recovery system;
� An infrastructure solution technologist who responds to needs of fast paced and diverse customer requirements
� Experience on deployment of large scale enterprise Citrix based solutions Required Skill Sets
� Solid knowledge of Windows Server 2003/2008 and desktop OS
� Extensive knowledge of Windows w2k / w2k3 servers
� AD TCP / IP DNS WINS. Windows clustering.
� Rack & blade server hardware configuration and management.
� Experience of storage configuration.
� Previous DC migration experience moving large complex environments with both internal and external interfaces / connections.
� Solid knowledge of VDI broker technology - Citrix XenDesktop VMWare View)
� Solid understanding of the RDP PCoIP and HDX protocols
