BDM (Business Development Manager) for Channels in India


Our client is looking for a seasoned Business Development Manager to start our channel sales efforts in India. We are getting significant inbound inquiries and offers in the US and Europe to partner with us in order for those partners to utilize our awarding winning MDM SaaS ​platform. There is incredible demand for cloud, mobile management and SaaS in the marketplace for the next ten years.
The successful individual will build, nurture, and rapidly expand the channel initiatives with ink. He/she will be the driving force in establishingk’s channel program, characterized by excellence and productivity. We foster an internal culture of TnT – Trust and Teamwork.
The candidate must have relevant experience building and growing a technology focused channel organization. The outcomes we are expecting related to this position include:
Responsibilities:
Build channel partnership program – select, evaluate, and on-board 1st round of qualified partners.​




Establish and refine enablement mechanisms




Lead the effort to create and refine effective partner portal and partner automation systems




Work with operations to put in place cross department go-to-market strategies, procedures, and controls so that the entire organization is aligned to channel objectives




Develop effective channel marketing and promotion strategies.




Develop / augment channel documentation (sales collateral, promotional ideas, etc)




Develop and implement incentive programs for channel partners





Establish partner specific sales objectives, track results and provide guidance and feedback to maximize partner effectiveness.​



Desired Skills & Experience:


3 - 5 years of direct and channel sales experience in software or SaaS/Cloud solutions in India

Strong overall knowledge with technology channels, industry trends, and overall channel best practices as it relates to value added reseller ecosystems. Additional knowledge of distribution networks is highly desirable.

A verifiable track record of sales success with an emphasis on new business development. Must be a perfect mix of consultative seller, fearless prospector, master motivator, and relationship builder.

Experience developing and managing channel sales.

Strong entrepreneurial spirit and demonstrated self-starter who can stretch from strategy to execution. Person must be an “out of box” thinker who can independently conceive and rollout innovative strategies.

Comfortable initially working as a sole contributor while building the channel

Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, presentation and planning skills a must.
