Experience: 2-15 years

Education: Bachelor’s degree in EE/CS

Location: Bangalore

Job Profile:

The candidate will be involved in the design and development of Company's SW platform.

Responsibilities are to design/develop/test embedded system platform modules and participate in all phases in the development cycle from requirement analysis, design, coding and

integration testing. Tasks include board bringup, bios, development of flash & other peripheraldrivers, networking drivers, system level components.

Candidate must be a sharp, self-motivated engineer with a proven background of problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.Should be able to provide

guidance, solutions and directions to the team.

1. Experience in the area of platform software development.

2. Strong "C" and embedded programming and extremely strong debugging skills (using gdb, kdbg etc.)

3. Knowledge of HW platforms, processors, memory, coprocessors,

peripherals, buses, multicore architectures, caches.

4. Good knowledge of OS/kernel features like interrupts,multi-threading, synchronization and memory management on Linux or Linux-like OSes.

5. Knowledge of linux drivers, boot loaders, bios, flash

6. Strong fundamentals of Routing, Switching.
