Requirements:

1. Strong "C" and embedded programming and extremely strong debugging skills (using gdb, kdbg etc.)
2. Good Knowledge of L2 switching and L2 features like STP, RSTP, MSTP, Link Aggregation etc.
3. Knowledge of VRRP, IP Routing and IP Multicast protocols is a plus.
4. Good knowledge of basic OS features like multi-threading, synchronization and memory management on Linux or Linux-like OSes.
5. Good understanding in developing embedded datapath features using Linux kernel network drivers and Linux kernel network stack. Linux SMP experience is highly preferred.
