Description
Execute high level to more complex under hood Computational Fluid Dynamic (CFD) analysis. * Perform CFD analysis of component to Full vehicle level systems associated with Heat Transfer and Fluid Dynamics.
Learns, understand and applies company engineering processes and practices.
Major Duties
Analyzes assignments and determines engineering specifications which must be fulfilled for routine problems or projects.
Planning & execution of CFD projects, for product verification and validation
Providing design recommendations and directions in the early stages of product design.
Customer engagement with business units in North America and others.
Applies knowledge of company products, policies and practices to provide economies through standardization of parts and products.
Provide technical support to marketing team to understand the product technical features and USPs.
Required Skills
Strong in basics of Thermal, Heat Transfer and Fluid Dynamics concepts.
Hands on experience in any CFD Analysis tools like Star-CD /Star-CCM+ /Ansys-Fluent.
Good experience in meshing tools like Star-CCM+ (Meshing) / Pro-AM /ICEM-CFD /Harpoon.
Knowledge in CFD simulations techniques.
Able interpret the simulation results, and correlate with test data & theoretical concepts.
Independent CFD simulation support and providing guidance to designers.
Must be a team player and able to work independently.
Should be able to lead team of CFD engineers.
Desired Skills
Domain knowledge in automotive is desired.
Working knowledge of automotive components, subsystems and systems is desired.
Knowledge of Pro-E sold modeling and PLM/PDM is an added advantage.
Knowledge of programming using C and scripts like Python, Perl etc
