Senior Buyer – / Sr. Engineer – Purchase openings in Bangalore

 Requirements / Job Description

• Establish effective communication (verbal & written) with departments (production, quality assurance, planning, logistics etc.,) on material availability.
• Establish effective communication (verbal & written) with external partners (supplier, freight operators etc.,) on schedules, pricing and delivery.
• Plan and organize ordering system of materials, follow-up & deliveries.
• Create information reports on materials procured, price changes, technology etc., for cost saving, capacity planning and scheduling.
• Monitor and report - inventory levels, price movement.
• Evaluate situation and make decision for alternate procurement, price changes and mode of transport etc.,
• Make Materials budget / & Control – Procurement / Consumption / Inventory Turn and Cost Savings
• Assess supplier against – Quality and Delivery.
• Develop supplier for consistent quality & delivery.
• Knowledge in AQP; PPAP; FMEA
• Experience in supplier development – in specialized area – aluminum pressure die casting; steel casting; steel investment casting.
  Educational Qualification :

• BE in Mechanical Engineering / Diploma in Production Technology - with minimum of 6-12 years experience.
