Position: Lead Engineer – Heavy Frames and Fabrication Structures for Mobile Products

Overview:
The Lead Engineer is to lead or support the major design projects from India in active collaboration with Our Client Business Segment engineering groups. The design could involve heavy structural frames and fabricated structures for off-highway equipment or heavy duty trucks.

• Design of Chassis for heavy equipment
• Design of Mounting frames for Cranes
• Design of Crawler chassis
• Weldments for heavy fabrication
• Structural Plastics

Responsibilities:
Lead a team of designers and engage with Our Client Global Engineering teams in a variety of Design projects - Determine feasibility of designs, considering costs, time limitations, planning and other technical and economic factors. _ Ensure product meets the marketing feature, cost and quality requirements. _ Produce white papers and technical reports in order to secure external R&D funding. _ Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills:

• B.E / M.E (Mechanical)
• 2-15 years in design preferably in Heavy fabrication structures for mobile products
• Good knowledge of SolidWorks / PRO-E.
• Good knowledge of GD&T
• Good design Fundamentals and hands-on Design validation using FEA methods
• Good knowledge BOM Creation, ECN and ECR.
• Go-getter attitude with strong belief in team work and effective planning.
• Good cross-cultural experience

Location:
Based at Bangalore and willingness to travel to Europe and USA
